Appointments and Drop-in Options
The Stat Lab offers expert statistical support via one on one appointments and drop-in options.
Appointments are recommended for support relating to research proposals, study design, more complicated statistical analyses and manuscript preparation.
Drop-in with Data is recommended for guidance with data formatting, data “wrangling”, data visualization and common statistical analyses.
For follow-up appointments on a given project, we ask that you continue to work with the same consultant, unless there is some compelling reason.
Appointments with Stat Lab Faculty and Staff
- Appointments are recommended for support relating to research proposals, study design, more complicated statistical analyses, manuscript preparation or reviewer comments.
- For a new project, use the calendar below to schedule an appointment with Stat Lab faculty and staff.
- For the initial meeting for a particular project, you may schedule with either consultant (Dr. Eric Gilleland or Dr. Ann Hess).
- By default, faculty/staff appointments are held via Zoom. In-person meetings are available by request.
- If none of the calendar times work for you, please email stat_lab@colostate.edu to discuss scheduling options.
Follow-up Appointments
- For follow-up appointments on a given project, we ask that you continue to work with the same consultant, unless there is some compelling reason.
- Please email the consultant directly (Eric.Gilleland@colostate.edu or Ann.Hess@colostate.edu) to discuss scheduling options.
- For faculty/staff scheduling a follow up appointment, please consider providing financial support to the Stat Lab. Even small contributions are very welcome!
Drop in with Data (no charge)
- Drop-in with Data is recommended for guidance with data formatting, data “wrangling”, visualization and common statistical analyses.
- This is a supportive environment for graduate students doing data analysis.
- Even if you don’t have a question, these sessions provide a focused time for analysis.
- These sessions are suitable for users of any software.
- No appointment necessary!
