We are happy to provide letters of support and assistance in grant writing.
The Stat Lab is dependent on grant support for long term success. We appreciate your support and consideration on grant proposals. We are happy to discuss support options ranging from percent effort (variety of roles) to hourly consulting (smaller projects).
Please schedule an initial meeting to discuss options. Visit the Schedule page [add link] to make an appointment or email stat_lab@colostate.edu. In your email or intake form, let us know you are interested in grant proposal support.
To determine if percent effort by a consultant is required, please consider the following:
- Are there large numbers of samples/data sets to be analyzed?
- Would the aim or proposal not receive a favorable review without statistical support?
- Would the project not have progressed, or progressed at a substantially slower pace, without consultation or method development by Statistical Laboratory consultants?
- Does the proposal include a specific aim that focuses on statistical methods?
- Is statistical method development required?
We request that the Graybill Stat Lab Core Facility be selected in the questionnaire of Kuali research, regardless of Stat Lab and personnel funding (e.g., even if only general consulting resources will be used).
For letters of support, please provide: Title of grant, agency to which you are submitting the grant, your title and mailing address, and 1-3 sentences on the goals (or specific aims) of your proposal. Data Analysis
